A Nation of Crybabies

December 15, 2001

What is this nation turning into? A nation of selfish whiners and crybabies? Where good is shunned and sneered at, and sin is in and hip? Where decent law abiding citizens who want to exercise their right to defend themselves legally, are feared and not trusted? To where even elected officials, whom aren't even as scrutinized as these law abiding citizens, throw a temper tantrum and cry harassment when they are given a traffic ticket for breaking the law.

The acts of good seem to be dwindling each day in this nation. A horrific act did momentarily bring this nation together and resulted in many charitable acts, only to be later overshadowed by scandal and greed. Individuals who are trying to be patriotic and display their support for the nation they live in and belong to are being told to stop being divisive and insensitive to non citizens and to take down their American flags.

It's not even limited to citizens of this country. Individuals who are here illegally and breaking all sorts of laws, when they are caught, they complain and whine and forget they are not citizens of this country and don't have any civil rights and have done absolutely nothing to earn any. And what's worse, they are even supported by elected officials, even a certain mayor of a certain city!

Sometimes I think I've seen it all, and nothing can be more absurd. But leave it to the people, the many citizens of this great nation, who forget their history and repeat all the stupid acts all over again.

Fortunately the silent majority, which are often ignored and forgotten, are still decent law abiding citizens and still believe that good is good and are proud to live in this country and haven't forgotten what the founding fathers have done for us. May God bless America!
